At the Big East cross country championship meet run earlier today in New York it was the Georgetown men's team and the Villanova women's team that took home the titles. In the men's race UC finished 6th and the women came in 9th. Lilian Jelimo was the top finishing Bearcat runner coming in 25th.
The goals going into the meet were for both teams to finish 7th.
The cross country season wraps up November 15th with the Great Lakes Regional Championship.
