A new face in the
Bearcats clubhouse this year has a familiar name, Lance
Durham. The son of former major
leaguer, and
Cincinnati native, Leon "Bull" Durham. Leon was best known for his years in a
Chicago Cubs uniform, but he did play for his home town Reds at the end of his career. Lance was raised in Cincinnati and attended Roger Bacon High School. After high school he went to
Kaskaskia College before
transferring to
UC this year. So far this year Lance has played a big roll in helping the
Bearcats score runs.
