Last year as a sophomore Josh Schneider swam his way into the NCAA Championship and earned All American honors with his 14th place finish.
With the collegiate season behind him Schneider set his sights on the US Olympic trials in Omaha, Nebraska last summer.
Not sure what to expect out of the meet or himself the Cincinnati native made it into the semi-finals of the mens 50 meter freestyle race. Going up against future Olympic medal winners Schneider held his own and finished 16th.
That was back in July. It's now October and it's back to swimming at the college level, but the Olympic experience has given the Josh a new perspective on how he approaches every meet.
