NFL Combine Invites 6 Bearcats

Six Bearcats have been invited to the NFL Combine later this month in Indianapolis.  Connor Barwin, Trevor Canfield, Kevin Huber, Mike Mickens, DeAngelo Smith, and Brandon Underwood will all be competing with over 300 players as they try to catch the eye of an NFL scout.  The combine starts February 18 and runs through February 24.  The players are broken down by position into 11 different groups.  The groups are then put together into four different "mini camps" that last four days.  Trevor Canfield and Kevin Huber are both in camp that goes through the process first. Connor Barwin, who is invited as a defensive end, will be in the camp that is up third and the three defensive backs, Mike Mickens, DeAngelo Smith and Brandon Underwood, will be in the final camp.  Bearcat Sports Page.com will keep you up to date with every thing that is happening leading up to the combines, including interviews with some of the participants.
For additional information on the combine check out the Bengals web site.  Geoff Hobson, who gave Cincinati fans the best coverage from the Senior Bowl, will continue to follow the future NFL players as they prepare for draft day.  Click here for the Bengals Web Site.
