Here is how the Big East looks right now, Sunday night.   The top five have 1,2 or 3 losses.  After that:

Providence 2-0

That would put Providence alone in 6th place with UC and Syracuse tied for 7th.

as for the rest of the year it's hard to tell but the win over Georgetown Saturday certainly put UC in a great position coming down the stretch.  How many times do you think the team wishes they could take the home loss to Providence and play it over.
