When Virginia Tech takes the field against the Bearcats on New Years day they will possibly be without three starters. Senior offensive lineman Nick Marshman will not play because of academic ineligibility. Marshman, who has already received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech did not pass the required 6 credit hours during the fall quarter to maintain elegibility. Injuries more than likely will side line two more, linebacker Brett Warrenn and defensive end Jason Worilds, are both expected to miss the Orange Bowl.
