For those heading to Miami here is a quick update on events.Alumni Brunch: January 1st at the Hyatt Regency Downtown. This is not free and more details will be available Monday.
Tailgate Party: The UC tailgate party will be inside the Official Budweiser Orange Bowl Tailgate Party. This is the big "festival" style party that will include bands, food, beverage, and vendors. It was pointless for UC to try and compete with this huge event so there will be a "UC Section" there.
New Years Eve: There will be no sponsored UC News Years Eve Party. Again, the competition is to good not to just join. the Alumni Association will publish a list of New Years Eve parties along South Beach for everyone to investigate.
Pep Rally: A pep rally is being worked on. no details yet.
UC Foundation and UCAT Events: There will be separate events sponsored by these groups and they will be invitation only.
The Alumni Association and the Athletic Department have been working very hard to make this an unforgettable experience. Their hard work should be commended. A complete list of events and happenings will be finalized by Monday. Bearcat Sports Page.com will have a link to where that valuable info will be residing.
This is all the info that is available right now any further questions will be answered Monday. A call to the Alumni Association, UCATS, Provident Travel....they will all have only the information above. Hopefully this will help you and save some time wasted being on hold because these people are very busy finalizing the details.
