Passing Of A Legend

It's a sad night for the University of Cincinnati family.  A member of the family has passed away, Jim Kelly Sr. is gone.   Mr. Kelly passed away earlier this afternoon at the age of 81.   To try and list all of his accomplishments at UC would take far more space than we could ever find.    He was everything at UC, but most of all he was a friend.   Former Bearcat football players we ran into at the Orange Bowl were sad that "Coach Kelly" couldn't make the trip, but were happy that he was able to enjoy this historical moment.  The list of friends and family left behind may be the only list that would take up more space than the list of his accomplishments.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Kelly family, and his UC family.  For a complete perspective on Mr. Kelly's career at UC visit:  gobearcats.com
