Friday afternoon the Bearcats punched their card for a BCS bowl game... Saturday they knocked it out! Now the only question remains is what bowl will UC play in. It's the opinion of Bearcat Sports Page that it will be the Sugar Bowl. Here is the reasoning. Bowls pick according to match up and how teams travel. Match up wise UC or Utah against Alabama...we would like to think the Big East has prepared UC better for that. Who would have a bigger economic impact on Bourbon Street on New Years Weekend....people from a university that sells beer at their home football games...or people from Utah. Don't read anything into this. It's mere fact. Who would arrive early and spend more money partying in the French Quarter until the wee hours of the morning?
