The women's volleyball team is responsible for putting the second Big East Conference Trophy in the trophy case in Lindner Hall!
Earlier today they extended their winning streak in 15 matches in a row by beating Rutgers in three sets... while a few miles to the north St.John's was being upset by Depaul. That gives St. John's and UC identical in conference records of 12-2. As far as the conference tournament next weekend, St. John's gets the #1 seed because they won the head to head match back in September. The Bearcats take their #2 seed into the conference tournament in Pittsburgh and play the host team on Friday at 6:00.

The team was recognized earlier tonight at half time of the men's basketball game tonight at Fifth Third Arena.
