Bearcats Beat UCONN, in 2nd Half

It was David verses Goliath, the number one team in the country came into Clifton fresh off of beating the next best team in the country by 30.  #1 UCONN 88 #2 North Carolina 58.  In the first half Saturday the Huskies showed that they are as good as advertised.  They built a tremendous lead that had UCONN leading UC 39-7 at half.  First half, a loss for the home team.   Coach Hall preached to his team this past week in practice that this was an opportunity to get better and use this game as a building block for the rest of the season.  In the second half the Bearcats set up the construction site and started building.  Second half UC 27 UCONN 26.  Yes, in games like this you can accept a moral victory.  They won the second half by 1.
Winning the second half is big.   Plus, remember that the #2 team lost by 30.  This team has come so far in just a year, almost as far as they came Saturday night in the second half.
