From Clifton to Super Bowl

There will be a former Bearcat coach leading a team into Tampa for the Super Bowl in two weeks.  Mike Tomlin, who spent time in Clifton under Rick Minter, will be trying to bring another Super Bowl title back to the Steel City.  Sunday night Tomlin and his Steelers defeated the Baltimore Ravens for the third time this season.  The Ravens contained it's fair share of Bearcats, including head coach John Harbaugh who also was part of Rick Minters staff along with his defensive coordinator, Rex Ryan.  On the field two Bearcats played in the AFC title game, Haruki Nakamura for the Ravens and Andre Frazier for the Steelers.  Nakamu came close to getting a sack in the first half when he was in on a blitz package.  Along with Tomlin and Frazier, special teams coach Amos Jones was also an assistant in Clifton under Minter is making the trip to Tampa February 1st with the Steelers.
