"D" For Effort

With about three minutes to go in the first half of Wednesdays game against Rutgers apparently someone said "enough is enough".  From that point on UC began eating into a double digit deficit and came back for a big win.  Not since Arkansas Pine Bluff have the Cats held an opponent to less than 60 points.  Coach Cronin has been preaching that it does not matter how many you score, it's keeping the other guys from scoring that wins games in the Big East.  That's what happened Wednesday night.
Bearcat Sports Page.com will be at practice in the next couple of days to bring you reactions to this win as well as looking ahead at this Saturdays match up at Depaul.  Rashad Bishop played a great defensive game.  This is what the fans at Fifth Third Arena have been waiting for...a reason to stand up and cheer.
